Celebrating my first three original poems
Paired with beautiful paintings by artist Anna Razumovskaya
An Entreat To Love
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your bewitching eyes that playfully
search me in every magical way.
Ways that compel me to come and stay.
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your tender touch that tantalizes
with desire and then implores.
Implores me to caress you as our excitement soars.
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your delectable ways will always
find me most affectionate.
My affection for you absolutely, assuredly passionate.
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your quiet confidence hidden
inside a willing and waiting heart.
Your heart, now open, I shall not depart.
Until Your Kiss I Savor
Was it captivation or wonder
that first led my heart to you?
Perhaps only fascination with fleeting
thoughts of some chance to pursue.
And with every glance my way,
those tempting eyes softly persuade,
your inviting lips dispute any delay.
Bid me come closer and touch your heart anew.
Allow me to delight in the warmth
of every breath that swirls, streams inside you.
Slow, sweet gentle breaths that excite me.
Draw me to your sumptuous lips
as they urge me to taste your love completely.
We Know Exactly
It wasn’t that long ago, and surely at the time,
it wasn’t exactly what we had in mind.
That we would gradually lose each other’s grasp,
leaving wide-eyed infatuations behind.
For a while I questioned
what there could ever be,
as you danced your life
light years away from me.
We know exactly from our heart’s emotions
about impetuous and ardent love so pure.
About our deepest dreams, some secret notions,
and enchantments that still endure.
I know exactly when you smile at me,
that you know exactly just what you do.
You know you melt my heart when we kiss tenderly,
I know I make you happy with my point of view.
We know exactly and we don’t pretend,
that we don’t know it’s true.
Because you feel it when you’re close to me,
and I see it when I look at you.
A note from Chris
As a young man I had always written some prose and poetry for the fun of the
experience, and of course, to impress a particular young lady as I recall. In 2010
I was asked if I had resumed the writing and the poetry and I sadly had to say that
I had not written anything significant in my adult years. However, I had done a lot
of writing related to my professional careers. These three poems are my first finished
projects back in 2010. I am happy to celebrate and share them with you as they are
very close to my heart and soul.
