Delightful Diversions

 

Those eyes, your beautiful eyes

that bewitch and enchant me,

are constant delights

in my dreams every night.

 

Amazing, engaging eyes

appeal for my absolute attention.

I willingly surrender,

without any apprehension.

 

Playful gleaming glances

from our eyes that never part,

and always seem to ask,

what diversions are deserving

for ambitions of the heart?

 

 

Under Our Heavenly Canopy

 

Stargaze moments, cosmic wonders, one heavenly night.

Let us marvel, launch lunar flights, Gemini’s in sight.

Creek frogs croaking, green with envy, as we trek our way.

Cozy blanket, kick off our shoes, galactic survey.

 

Planets align, meteors streak, bodies in motion.

Safe in my arms, soon to be one, playful commotion.

Celestial orbs, float in deep space, no mission control.

Light years ahead, time travel slow, devote heart and soul.

 

 

When True Love Takes Flight

 

Ambitious minds create dreams that delight,

launch ardent adventures, designed to excite.

Time and space are not a friend or polite,

when true love naturally takes flight.

 

For hearts soar to an unimaginable height,

romantic rhythms dance in moon’s light.

Intentionally intertwined lives unite,

when true love passionately takes flight.

 

 

A note from Chris

Marc Chagall (1887 – 1985) was a Russian–French artist.  An early modernist, he was associated with several major artistic styles and created works in virtually every artistic medium, including painting, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramic, tapestries and fine art prints. He experienced modernism’s “golden age” in Paris, where “he synthesized the art forms of Cubism, Symbolism, andFauvism, and the influence of Fauvism gave rise to Surrealism“. (from Wikipedia)
