An Entreat To Love
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your bewitching eyes that playfully
search me in every magical way.
Ways that compel me to come and stay.
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your tender touch that tantalizes
with desire and then implores.
Implores me to caress you as our excitement soars.
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your delectable ways will always
find me most affectionate.
My affection for you absolutely, assuredly passionate.
Forever flourish my love’s enticing charms.
The allure of your quiet confidence hidden
inside a willing and waiting heart.
Your heart, now open, I shall not depart.

did your tweet say this was your first poem? it is enchanting…and far better than my first…smiles…
Brian, I wrote some poetry in my adolescent years, but unfortunately there is not a scrap or shred anywhere to be found. This particular poem is my first attempt after more than just a few years on sabbatical and was written in August, 2010. So I am still quite a newbie! I look at it now and think that I might have been flourishing here, there and yon just a bit too much! But I wanted so much to wax poetic… and I was very happy with it. Thanks for your encouraging words as always!
