I Want All of You

I am imagining that there is

nowhere else that you would rather be,

than safe in my arms

making love with me.

I am dreaming of so many nights

when I hold you tight

and squeeze you tenderly,

so softly, yet with all my might.

I am carefully exploring each part of you,

your every secret exposed to my delight.

As your fingers slide sweetly into mine,

I want all of you to myself tonight.

Certain that we will cherish our love

as warm passions flow,

and the night goes by

blissfully, forever slow.

A note from Chris

Yes, I must admit it, that one of my all time favorite movies is “Somewhere in Time” starring the beautiful Jane Seymour and the most dashing Christopher Reeve. This movie was released in 1980 and the soundtrack, I might add, is just perfect and amazing. I think this screen capture of their characters illustrates so well the feeling and spirit of my poem “I Want All of You”. What you basically need to know is that Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) has just written a play and then thru a series of events he travels back in time to find his love ~ ultimately his soul-mate Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour).
